Photographing a Picturesque Wedding at Gostwyck Chapel

Ben, a good friend of mine is the award winning owner photographer at bluetulipimaging.com.au. He’s known as a Byron Bay wedding photographer mostly despite the fact he photographs weddings all over Australia and I believe has even done a couple of weddings by special request in New Zealand. He was on his way back from photographing a wedding in Tamworth NSW when he stumbled across one of the quaintest little chapels in the most picturesque settings you could possibly imagine. He has a stunning photo of it on his website and has published a call out to anyone getting married there who has not already arranged their photographer to get in touch with him.

I did a little research and found that Gostwyck Chapel was built in memory of Major Clive Collingwood Dangar in 1921. Major Dangar lost his life during World War I. An avenue consisting of 200 Elms was planted by a worker who apparently was assigned specifically for the task and brought out from England especially to do so.
